Why people think college is American Pie

Why is it that people usually glamorize the college lifestyle talkin bout partying and getting laid, real talk you shoulda done this stuff in high school. I just notice lots of young people think going to college is like American Pie and this dream land where you just have fun all the time. In high school if your billy bad ass your not down anything, in college your down 20-30k quick if you decide not to take it serious. Why do people say this is the best time of my life. If I go to college 20-30k go down the drain real fast if you try to live life like an actual individual(just an apartment and some good food) in HS that shyt is free.

People talkin bout the p*ssy in college, in college the hoes already been having sex since 13-14, so how is the puss better in college?College is home of the "I changed,type hoe" bytch you didn't change shyt you just getting old and wanna get married lmao.

I think college is forced upon people and if you got there to learn than you are doing it right,however going there to party like alot of people think shyt just doesn't make sense to me,what can you do in college you couldn't do in college? To me college you are payin so you can't just send it down the poop shoot.

Because for the MAJORITY of people high school is an awkward time, and college gives you a chance to redefine yourself and start over.

Well for one, college is where all the kids that didn't do shyt in high school usually go. Obviously that's a generalization, but I noticed that a lot of the people I've met in college never smoked weed, drank or had sex in high school. A lot of them don't even know how to ride a bus or struggle with using crosswalks even.

College is a big learning experience tho. Living alone in coed dorms for the first year. Imagine that -- basically high school kids 18-19yr olds all alone, of course they gonna act dumb. Then they move off campus after building a weed or drinking dependence, and the 4 years of college turns into daily fukkery.


For what its worth, I do think college is a lot of fun, but I ain't about to say its the best time of my life, I still gotta lot of shyt to do.

People go to college and party all day because they have no concept of money. They think that financial aid money is a handout, not knowing you have to pay it back.

Dont get me wrong im in college and I go to parties here and there but I just cant go out every weekend. I find it wasteful

If you aren't an athlete/in a fraternity you aren't eating good, HS if you aren't playing football/basketball you weren't a top nikka, the same concept applies everywhere in life. People feel more accepted because there are more lames in College but the whole world works the exact same way.

Not everyone is on student debt OP. Some of us have had scholarships and parental support. We can technically afford to take more risks in college compared to those taking loans.

It's the last time where you're among your peers in a close setting to make lifelong friends where you are all in the same development stage.

Thats what I am tryina say, I felt awkward from middle school to high school but after that I pretty much have known who I am. Lots of people in college don't smoke weed like that,they think they are cool AF and gonna make cheese but really education is just a coping method for alot of people since it takes real drive to make money. Why do people say college is a time to change who you are? By the time you are a certain age your personality is pretty much set for life
