But this has always been the case with Harden. I said last year he was a wrost defender than KMart(Thunders, not Knciks).

When it comes down to it, all that really matters is team defense. Malone and Hornacek were horrible individual defenders but you never knew because they play great team defense.

Team defense>>Individual defense.

Most of the great players in the league are ass as individual defense. Melo, Kobe, Stat, Dirk, ZBo, Griffin, Kimba,

Josh Smith and Serge are overrated.

You can't play good team defense if individual players don't bring EFFORT. Why you think OKC was so quick to trade Harden :mjpls:

Because they couldn't afford him.

Your reasoning is why they didn't START Harden.

If OKC felt Harden was that important to there success they would have tried to clear up some cap space to sign him. He's only getting 3-4 mil a year more than what OKC offered him. If Harden aint cheesin at the free throw line he's basically useless.

It was about the luxury tax. They basically had to choose between Ibaka and Harden. We know their decision.

:pachaha: they offered him a four year 52mil deal. The fact that they wouldn't trade Perkins useless @ss who is making 7mil a year for a another average center making 2-3 mil a year inorder to offer Harden more money shows how disposable Harden was to OKC

I don't care about none of that, I'm just tryna figure out why you think OKC didn't "want" James Harden.

:snoop: They wanted him but as a 6th man because he brings no effort on defense and gets rattled by good defenders. And people making him out to be this superstar trying to make excuses for his pedestrian effort on the other end of the court.
