Why shouldn't the Bengals trade Dalton and start McCarron?

Dalton is at his peak and that's about a statistically average QB by all accounts. Trading him would open up a QB spot as well as garner several first rounders. So why not start McCarron and see if he can be a better game manager?

Because that would finally get Marvin Lewis fired.

It would but at least the team could move on and potentially challenge for more than a playoff berth. If only someone in management had any balls, the Bengals could do something.

That makes no sense. So, get rid of a guy who is having his best season with 25TD 7INT (12.5 games) for an unproven backup who has several limitations? McCarron was a 5th round pick. This is the type of move that gets coaches and GM's fired.

I made this thread before the 2015 season. I upped the thread because McCarron could ball out.

Breh...We don't know what we have in Dalton...Lets hold off on these theories until AJ starts these few games.
