Look me in the eyes
Stephen Curry: 22.4 ppg 6.8 apg 4.0 rpg 45%FG 90%FT 45%3p 58%TS 3.1 TO 38.2min
Kyrie Irving: 23.0ppg 5.7 apg 3.7 rpg 47%FG 84%FT 41%3p 56.5%TS 3.2 TO 35.1min
Impact: Curry has lead the Warriors to the number 6th seed in the highly competitive western conference. He is the leader of a tough playoff team. Kyrie is still young, he hasn't proven anything leadership-wise. Id give the edge to the guy making the impact on a borderline top 10 team, rather than the atrocious cavaliers. Great players make their teams better. Kyrie doesn't have that great of a supporting cast, but with the young talent they have they should have more wins than they do when Kyrie is playing.
Rebounding: Rebounding is pretty much dead even, neither are great Rondo/Westbrook type rebounders, due to lack of size and elite athleticism, but both are solid, around 3.8 reb per 36. However I would give the slight edge to Steph, the Warriors are a top 4 rebounding team, much harder to get defensive rebounds with Lee and Boguts. Cavs are a bad team on the boards to say the least.
Passing: Curry is a much better playmaker for his teammates. For a large part of the game, Curry plays off ball when Jack is in the game, greatly limiting his time as the primary ball handler. Curry would have well over 7 apg without Jack as a warrior. His passing ability is vastly underrated and is very gifted at passing with both hands. TOs have been a problem for Curry, but compared to Kyrie his TOs are dwarfed. Irving averaged 0.1 more TOs in 3 less minutes.
Curry: 2.19 ast/TO
Irving: 1.81 ast/TO
Honestly Currys ratio is nothing special, but Irving's is just horrendous for a PG.
Defense: Neither are lockdown defenders, but Curry has definitely improved his defense from years past. He is a smart defender that stays in front of his man, but clearly isnt the "elite" defender Mark Jackson said he is. But Kyries defense is just bad, on ball and off ball, he can't guard his own shadow. In comparison Curry is a much much better defender.
Scoring efficiency: Kyrie is the better scorer when it comes to driving and slashing down the lane, but Curry is clearly the better shooter. Irving has a much bigger scoring role on his team, Curry has Lee and Thompson to take away a lot of his looks. Kyrie has the greenest light in the world. For the amount of jumpers and 3 pointers Steph takes per game (7.2) his 45FG% is very impressive, not to mention he is the only elite 3 point shooter % wise like that that does the majority of his work off the dribble, not so much catch and shoot. Currys FT shooting is aways above Kyries. And the TS%, probably the biggest factor in scoring efficiency, favors Curry.
So that is my 2 cents. Imo Curry is the better all around player, has the better numbers, in a more impressive way, and has flat-out proven more in this league. Kyrie is hyped up way more with the Uncle-Drew commercials, which makes his popularity go up causing people to vastly overrate him. Don't get me wrong, he is special and will be an elite player, but for now, Curry>Kyrie. Tell me what you think.

he just needs health and some sesoning and he'll be a top player.. his prime should be higher than steph's but thats not slight at steph cause he will be a perineal all-star starting next season
shyt tho
and his passing actually impressed me a lot. Both are injury prone and don't play the best defense tho. Kyrie will get better with turnovers as time goes on.
