North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
people think because of the success of rgIII, kapernick (sp) and russell wilson (and lets not forget killa cam) that the NFL is going towards the spread option/pistol offense and it will be hard to defend.

1. Oregon's offense flopped against teams with a lot of NFL caliber talent. In college football its more about the talent level than it is the scheme. doesn't matter what offense you run, if you have the best talent, you will win.

2. Most of the offensive players at Oregon did not transition well in the pros especially at quarterback.

I'm not saying he's going to flop like Steve Spurrier but unlike college, coaches work year round. players plan/prepare longer. the talent level is even. QB's like Wilson and RGIII beat teams with their legs after plays broke down more so than planned running plays

LOL niccaz been sayin for years you cant run option in the NFL...
Then they ran option in the NFL.

What the truth is is that the NFL is a very stagnant league. ALL of the innovation comes from college and high school. I think the NFL is just weary of having their QBs hurt running the option. The simple solution is to pick up option QB's. Read option is tough to stop as long as the correct reads are made. especially if the QB can be an average passer.

Too bad he's the coach that Belichick consults with about his offense, what a failure in New England

Your a fool, if you think Kelly will bring the same offense from Oregon to the pros. He'll take pieces of it and combine it to the NFL. I expect to see the usage of the No Huddle though.

Nick Foles got hurt in less games then what Vick played, but somehow it's Vick not being a good decision making and holding onto the ball too long, when most of his hits are blind sides

Andy Reid just isn't a great coach, lived off McNabb and Johnson being the defense coordinator, eagles ain't been shyt since

No one got hurt in the pistol yet :manny:

Maybe not out of that formation, but you're QB was on life support in January.

It's not good when your rookie years ends with surgery to your knee and you already been concussed.

That Skins offense puts the kid in too much danger, and it's not necessary either. He can ball without the gimmikc

Yeah, and I expect Chip's offense to put Vick in a position to do more w/ his legs, which isn't a good look for Michael at this point.

He's being held together with Silly Puddy in 2013

This is best for the eagles Oline

Skins had the worst line in football last year but you would never know because the pistol freezes the Dline. They dont know if its a screen, bootleg, Reverse, run, or option. They couldn't rush the passer.

This will help Vick buy more time
