Any must haves for a new MacBook pro owner ?
I've had the same mac for about 4 years now and I still didn't know all thisMemory Clean - is a nice app that frees up memory if your mac should ever get bogged down.
X11, Wine and CrossOver - are some app that should help you easy into Mac OS X fully. these apps let you run some Windows apps natively on OS X
App Cleaner - to help you remove most file when you want to delete/uninstall an application
App Trap - runs in the background and associates plist, (program files that usually remain after a app is deleted/uninstalled), and identifies and prompts you to delete the files them when you delete/uninstall an application.
CCleaner for Mac
7zX, The Unarchiver - For Archive/ compressed files
MPlayer X - Similar to VLC but it works better on Mac IMHO

I cosign all of these expect Memory Clean. With the newer operating systems, apps like Memory Clean defeat the purpose of caching.Memory Clean - is a nice app that frees up memory if your mac should ever get bogged down.

Had Macs for 10 years now, never had a virus, and I download from some dodgy sites.

I had one for a few years went back to windows but learned that you can't buy one of those 200-400 dollar windows laptops you need a more expensive one and it still doesn't run as good as an mbp....but if you aren't into music or designing and just need a computer for Internet, office, and downloading music there are some nice cheaper computers.
I bought a 500 buck lenovo which comes with 1920X1080 Native resolution which is not "Retina" but good enough and 6 GB of ram. Very hard high quality plastic casing which is solid (similar to PVC). Threw in a 90 dollar 256 GB solid state in there and I was set to go![]()

I need to see that 13 inch in person man
fukk I don't know what to do..
.I'm ready to order something right now
I copped yesterday from apple.com....screen sized looked nice in personIf screens size is an issue, just cop a big monitor. The 13 inchers have better battery life and are very light. 15 inch macbooks are almost overkill.
