Why the hate for Umar Johnson?

It seems like people go overboard with the hate for Umar Johnson.

I'm skeptical of Umar Johnson like anybody else, and I dont like some of his behavior.

but I dont think that justifies people dumping on Umar and making fun of Umar Johnson every chance they get.

Some people call him a scam artist, but that has yet to be proven conclusively.

And this is coming from a guy who hasn't donated to his school and wouldn't even send my kids to his school if I had any kids because of some of his behavior.

But I havent found actually a concrete reason to dislike and hate on the brother.

I just look at him as someone who drops allot of good game and that's it.

First of all, his ego is off the charts.

Second of all, remember when The Nigerian kept pushing Mollywatr and initially people were TRYING to support but he never dropped it or told people where to buy it???


Third of all... Are you REALLY supporting him or are you one of those 'triflin niggros' who wanna "support" him online but haven't donated to the school?


Fourth of all, I don't give a damn how much you donated. You know DAMN WELL he needs you to donate more for that school

I don't personally have any negativity towards him at all but I also don't follow him whatsoever
I'm guessing the hate is coming from people who donated for him to make a school years ago and the school isn't running yet

I don't believe people hate Dr. Umar. Hate is a strong word!

But, I guess some people feel that his credibility and integrity is questionable, not to mention, you have those who got caught up in his beef with Tariq.

Then you have the whole donation scandal, his claim to being a descendent of Frederick Douglass as well as his degree credential situation.

I don't agree with someone of his views, but I do think he genuinely cares about Black people as a collective.

He may need to find other avenues to get his school up to code because donations will not be enough to run and maintain the upkeep as well as staff his school.

yeah he definitely has done some funny style shyt, and like I said, if I had kids,

I wouldn't even send them to his school cause he seems to volatile for me

Professor James Small is part of a group that started a hotel in Ghana that employs 40 plus people.

Starting a hotel is probably much different then starting a school(especially in Africa), but he can probably learn from the professor.

I think that he needs to clean up his image first! If people can’t trust him, then they sure as heck isn’t going to support him!

After that, he needs to get some reputable investors and well as find some reliable revenue streams to fund his school or simply take his school to Ghana which would probably be considerably much cheaper to operate than in the States. Or he can downsize the school, get a smaller building and have an academy type set up. Anything to cut down the cost.

But, once again pm clean up the image, then go on with the plan..

Dude is too ego driven. I remember one video he was talking about donations and going to law school. And he said: "I KNOW Y'all gon pay for me to go to law school"...lik he's some sort of UNconscious community stomp-down pimp.
