The best space game that ever was created with a good 2 years of content coming on top of ridiculous mods.

The only game where you can end the entire universe accidentally.

Like loving your robots and keep pushing their technology but then you come across Synth Tech. You think, man this is gonna be awesome, they are better then my main species at everything!

But when you do, the new Synths with their advanced AI decide they want citizens rights.

You give it to them because androids are people too...

But then an event happens where a few synths have left your colonies to do their own thing.

You ignore them because you got more important things to do. Suddently you get a declaration of war 10 years later as the Synths have hacked the galactic system and driods both in your empire and galaxy wide are turning on their masters! People who relied on them are being obliterated and if you didn't prepare, you are being killing too.

The meatbags will now be purged from the galaxy as the new age of evolution arises. You lost, but you totally don't feel like you lost because you triggered it accidentally.

It even told you when you picked the tech that is was a very dangerous tech. You did it anyway. That is was stellaris is all about. Doing it anyway.

well ofcourse. It takes 20 hours to win a normal campaign. The thing I shown is just a jist of what you gotta deal with on the most basic level.

Stellaris is not complete. The game is dry as fukk. People got so caught up in the empire creator thing and the tech tree but once you look under the hood its a VERY weak 4x game that still needs a ton of work. The mid-game is just a mess.

The best thing it had going for it was the multiplayer and having a solid infrastructure for it in place day one. Most 4x space games don't get that kind of push because most 4x space games consider it an afterthought and let the modders handle that for them.

Endless Space 2 is about to drop soon... save your money. Its gonna erase Stellaris' entire, dwindling community.

Man I love 4x games, but Stellaris just doesn't look like something that I wanna play. And now that Civ 6 is out and about......no need.

Very good game. Wish it was more character indepth focused like CK2, but it isn't a bad game at all.

Comparing it to Endless Space 2 is :francis: status because both are very good and are a positive in the strategy game community. :blessed:

However the developers STILL haven't fixed the game-breaking bug :camby:

Paradox is more consistent with giving constant bugfixes/tweaks to their products. CK2 has been a thing since 2012 and was still getting DLC and updates in 2019.
