Why the Vietnam War never got the COD/BF Stimulus

Making a grimy Vietnam war game means you gotta touch on US political corruption, killing innocent civilians, casual racism, use of chemical weapons, and the protest against the war. Given these topics and how these war games tend to attract these future MAGA voting white boys...they'd be calling the game "DEI" & "woke" before even playing it and being completely unaware of history.

There were no redeeming qualities about the Vietnam war.

Iraq/Afghanistan you can at least say this was against terrorism or dictators. Even if it's bullahit some things are true.

Vietnam was countries pushing some stupid agenda. The US had no business there, also extended the war to help Nixon get elected (this isn't a conspiracy this is a historical fact) made way for the genocide in Cambodia, not to mention killing Vietnamese people to stop "Chinese Communism" when the Vietnamese were fighting the Chinese on their own soil. The veterans weren't respected when they came back and its known there were tons of atrocities done by the US by a bunch of unfit dimbasses.
There's no good way to portray that war.

All true, but people don’t really care about it like that anymore. Even the old veterans from either side have reconciled and visit both ways. Teenagers and adults, all over the world, play the fukk out Vietnam campaigns whenever they can get their hands on one.

RSV:2 used to be packed. I didn’t see the lobbies empty until a couple of years ago, and people run back the minute they see a “I thinkthe trees are speaking Vietnamese” meme. A huge part of the player base are actual Vietnamese and Chinese teenagers and adults.

There was a PC game based on Vietnam a long time ago but it was a terrible Doom clone and not tastefully done.

Campaign wise the CoD:BO the Bad company one, and rts games. Rising storm 2: vietnam came out in 2017 and plays a lot like battlefield 3/4.

There was zero backlash from those games being made or played while what you saying sounds good... its not based in reality
The truth is these companies decided to remake everything. There will be games with Tall Grass once again, and it will be glorious
