Why UVA gotta fail me like that?

Was at work so I couldn't get into the game the way I wanted. Knew that we were up by like 11 or 12 and left for not even 10 minutes. Came back to see us down by 6 and of course we end up losing. What in the hell happened? Did Syracuse just get hot or did that 2-3 zone kick in and all of sudden we went cold. I'm pissed as hell cause I really thought that we were going to win the title this year with all the breaks that have happened with Michigan State and Kansas losing and me not fearing anyone else like that especially since we beat UNC earlier this year. This just hurts because Gill and Brogdon are gone and while we have nice recruiting class coming in we just blew our best chance for a while to win a ring I think. Tony Bennett is for real and has made us elite but damn I wanted that Final Four appearance at the least. In a time when VCU and George Mason have made deep runs why cant my Wahoo's get into the last 4 just once. Wish Justin Anderson would have stayed. Definitely would have been the favorites then.

Bennett will never prosper until he's ready to let his boys RUN with the big dawgs. You can't win a title with killing clock as your primary strategy.

I'm a Carolina Stan but Bennett is a really good coach. Underrated as hell. Basically he just doesn't have enough scorers. They play great defense but in those long stretches where they need to score to stop a run its basically one player and that's it.

If Bennett got some of these top recruits he'd prolly have a ring by now. Hard to convince stars to play defense and half court offense. Especially now with a shorter shot clock.

They went full court press and forced Virginia to play faster they missed liked 10 driving layups with 20 seconds left on the shot clock each time. Everything else after that was a wrap.
