Brandy is a lyric contralto with an upper extension that allows her to go into soprano territory. She has range and can belt when the song calls for it.

How Brandy’s 'Never Say Never' Invented 'The Vocal Bible'

Talk to these nikkas, breh!

It's good to see the few of us on the Coli who are really knowledgeable about this shyt. I get tired of dealing with Coli brehs with no in-depth understanding of R&B music, vocals, and musicianship, but always wanna speak on shyt.

Probably because they can guess your real intentions behind all the criticisms of other artists.

You’re pretty obvious.

I’m obviously not obvious then because yalls guesses are completely wrong

If I wanted to mention or discuss Beyoncé I would have no problem saying her name like I’ve done plenty times before, so Like I said there’s way better female singers with a wider range and can hit more octaves than brandy so I’m not sure why she got that title
