Why was I removed from the Zimmerman trial thread in HL?

I wasn't trolling in that thread AT ALL; I was posting just like how almost everyone else was posting........check all of my posts in it for proof

All I know is, I started complaining about the possibility of a mistrial. NYC Rebel tried to get at me, acting like I was complaining about the trial itself, and asking me why I was watching it. I then explained to that clown that I was only complaining about a possible mistrial......

Next thing I know, I'm banned

I didn't needlessly antagonize ANYONE.....and if I responded harshly to anyone, it was only AFTER they got at me first with the same attitude like NYC Rebel did, so I don't see why I'm the only one who's paying for it. If that's why I got removed, then he should be removed as well since he started the shyt. I wasn't even talking to him at first.

I didn't do any type of trolling whatsoever in that thread......all I did was post my opinions about the trial like everyone else, except I wasn't as anti-Zimmerman as the others

This seriously needs to be addressed.....First, I'm not allowed to make a statement in my sig; now I'm not even allowed to post about the trial? What's going on here?

If I said ANYTHING in that thread that warranted a ban from it, please quote it........I'd like to know exactly what it is so I can avoid doing it in the future. Brooklynzson, you told me to kill the smilie; I did it (even though you still banned me while I was trying to remove it). bk, you told me to kill the sig; I did it. Y'all can't say I'm not complying; all I wanna know is what I'm NOT allowed to do on here

Friend........they allowed me back into the George Zimmerman trial thread not long after I first made this thread. Then I was removed from the thread again, just a few minutes ago.

Why?

The following is the only post I can recall making in the thread since I was allowed to post again in it, but before being removed again minutes ago:

Please, friends. I understand emotions are running high. But the jury has made their decision. George Zimmerman has been found not guilty. Let us not resort to violence or talks of violence to deal with our emotions. Killing George Zimmerman will not bring back Trayvon. Killing him or assaulting random white persons, will not prevent incidents like this from happening in the future. It will not help to fix any imperfect laws that are in place. It will not help black people to advance.

The system, while imperfect at times, is still the best we have overall. Let us remember that there are other places, where a young woman can be raped by several random men and also burned afterwards.......and the officials in that place will simply blame the young woman for the incident, and claim that she burned herself. That is not a made-up situation; that has actually happened in India, and it is hardly an isolated incident. At least in the U.S., most persons are put on trial for their actions, and the facts of the case are produced for all to see, so that regardless of the verdict, right or wrong, people will still know the suspects and know the facts, and be able to draw their own conclusions from there.

Let us not encourage demonic, violent behavior as a result of Trayvon Martin's death and the trial of George Zimmerman. Let us not engage in the same activity which we claim we are frustrated by seeing others do. It is so demonic, friends.

Now, friends........I admit I haven't been the most model poster in the past. You can clearly see that in my first post in this thread, before I made my personal changes. Among other things, I posted a 'deadtrayvon' smilie and got fully banned for three days. Then I created a signature discussing the possibility of the acquittal of Zimmerman, and I was told to remove it. I can only assume that the higher-ups believed that I was trolling and trying to antagonize others with those acts. And I was.....for the smilie at least, which was clearly done in poor taste. But for the signature....that was my opinion at the time.....yet I was not allowed to express it.

Now, having said all of that......look at the quote above, friends. Take a good look. What part of that quote qualifies as trolling or antagonizing in any way, shape or form? What part of that quote contains something worthy of a ban, whether from a thread of from the coli altogether? Is it not clear that I was simply trying to quell the demonic statements in that thread, and trying to remove the negativity in that thread? Is it not clear that I did not show any direct support for Zimmerman at all?

Yet.....I was still banned from the thread. Again.

What is happening to the coli? Especially the Higher Learning subforum?

Was my assumption of the coli going too far to protect 'precious Trayvon', a correct one? It's one thing to be angry at and ban persons who outright support Zimmerman (even though I believe that is unfair, and persons should be allowed to have whatever opinions they want about the case). But why ban someone trying to act as a neutral party?

We must ask ourselves.......if Zimmerman had been convicted, would the coli have banned anyone who celebrated the prosecution's victory (and I think we can all assume that would have been many posters)? Would the coli have then banned persons who simply tried to steer persons away from violent thoughts and activity related to the case? I personally think not.

The outright bias on the coli when it comes to the Trayvon Martin case is very alarming to me. The coli now seems to ban persons who are not on the 'Kill Zimmerman and kill whitey' bandwagon as a result of this verdict. What next? Will they ban people who say something negative about Kobe Bryant? Will they ban persons who state that Jay-Z is better than Nas? Where does it end?

It is so demonic, friends.

I am not certain of what you speak of, friend, or what point you are trying to make. I have never referred to a Steve Murray 'account' in this thread; only my own account, Metta World Movement.

I have, however, seen the posts in that other Zimmerman trial thread by one Steve Murray. I also see that he has been banned....yet his posts only seem to celebrate Mr. Zimmerman's victory, and do not seem to break any set rules. Even if that was my account as well, hypothetically speaking, then I would have still been banned simply for sharing my opinion at that time (unless again, I would have broken some rule that I'm not aware of), which goes back to my initial complaint.

And if you would be so kind as to check the mentioned thread, my true account, Metta World Movement, did not say anything to warrant a ban. Why do you refuse to address that, friend? Is this how the coli operates, friend? One account gets punished for the infractions of another....and the actual infractions are not even pointed out? Or they are simply labeled as 'trolling' even though they are simply sharing an opinion that the majority does not agree with?

People weren't trying to see the case from a different perspective, so they banned anyone who sided with Zimmerman.

Shoulda named the thread "The Pro-Trayvon Thread - no CACS/c00ns allowed", it'd be more appropriate.
