He donated his 2001-2002 salary to 9/11 victims. :salute:

Led the team in scoring in scoring/assists/steals 23/5/1.4 :salute:

Became all-time leading scorer in All Star games as a Wizard :salute:

In 2003 he averaged 20.0 points, 6.1 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.5 steals per game :salute:

He also shot 45% from the field, and 82% from the free throw line and even though he turned 40 during the season, he scored 20 or more points 42 times, 30 or more points nine times, and 40 or more points three times :lawd:

Also that season Jordan became the first 40-year-old to tally 43 points in an NBA game :smugfavre:

He sold out all the home games AND the Wizards were the second most-watched team in the NBA, averaging 20,172 fans a game at home and 19,311 on the road :win:

People always want to shyt on his time in DC :mjpls:

The Wizards helped solidy his legacy as the greatest

Because he was a shell of himself and the Wizards sucked. Hope that helps...

this. I grew up watching :mjpls: as a bull. dude came into the league when I was in the first grade, and I watched him all the way til the end of my soph year in college.

never thought I'd see him wearing another uniform. and although he still could play at that age, he was kinda :flabbynsick: and didn't even get the wizards into the playoffs either year.

He wasnt an embarrassment.

But He was terrible defensively, his efficiency was garbage that first year, and they didnt make the playoffs in a historically watered down conference both seasons :scusthov:

Yeah, even though his version of :flabbynsick: was still top 15 at his position, it was still kinda sad to watch. It was like seeing Superman lose his powers :to:

He still had a few :ooh: moments left in him, but seeing him on the sideline icing his knees and missing dunks was just like :merchant: :sadbron:

Most people look at his as a disappointment because they didn't make the playoffs and they weren't used to seeing MJ fall short like that. But Mike balled both seasons and didn't affect his legacy too me.

That n*kka was chuckin like :flabbynsick: Kobe. He was still very good and damn near elite but he wasn't one of the best. I remember nigs dropping 40 regularly like AI and a couple others but MJ was still very good. Washington wasn't that good either.
