He was drafted for entertainment purposes. Who wouldnt sign up knowing you will be treated to good music and good boxing matches. It damn sure wasnt random

Malcolm X was drafted. When he went to talk to the psychologist he jumped up on a desk and started saying he couldn't wait until they gave him a gun so he could go shoot some crackers. They quickly said "fukk that" and rescinded his draft.
