you ever look at really old pictures from like the 1800s or early 20th century and notice how hideously ugly everyone is? I've literally never seen a chick from those days and been like "damn, she's a dyme!!"
did the level of attractiveness just raise significantly from the 50's onwards or what?
this point hit home when I was watching some mini-series on netflix called hatfeilds & mccoys, and the disaprity in attractiveness between the actors and the real life people they were based off is too great. like ridiculously so.
