Why won't Kendrick accept the smoke from Lupe and Joey Bada$$?

I don't know if you're joking or not, but this is what Kendrick did to get Drake to respond.

Kendrick tried to get this shyt popping off back in 2021 with Family Ties, but I think the disses were a little to subliminal or not direct enough. But with Like That, you could deny who he was talking about. It was clear as day.

Kendrick tried to get it popping on TPAB and Damn. ESPECIALLY Damn.

Good to know. No, I wasn't joking. Getting more and more disrespectful to the point that everyone in the room is talking about it but the guy it's aimed at pretends it doesn't exist or isn't worthy of a response means they're forfeiting. You win by default.

Kendrick had way more to lose than Drake in this battle :dead:

And it was way more challenging for him to win that fight... he was against the initial industry stand and streamers, and he needed the bigger hits to win. He was always considered the better rapper/artist, but people, journalists, magazines and co were already saying "Drake would win regardless even if he loses because he's more popular".

I'm happy all of that was recorded, saved and shared, so people can't rewrite history.
Drake fans are the new maga, trying to rewrite history on a daily basis :pachaha:

While this is true, during that time they were acting like there wasn't any issues in interviews. I do wonder if that was a decision that Top was influencing.

The Family Ties track just sticks out for me, but I felt like it was only one nikka he was talking about and he was very aggressive with his shyt talking.

I haven't really commented on the Lupe shyt because tbh, I've never liked his music.

I'm going back and listening to his albums now. I may do a retrospective thread on them later.

Joey would get decimated.

I don't have anything else to say about that.

As far as Lupe, unless I'm missing something this is the last time he spoke about Dot, around a year ago:

Said he has no problem with Kendrick and praised him.

Lupe was actually teaching a course at MIT

Where he broke down Kendrick's lyrics.

Kendrick, as far as I know, hasn't acknowledged Lupe at all in the last decade.

So....yeah. If you teach a college course about my lyrics I ain't battling you. You're just a disgruntled fan to me.

Fred.
