Why wont the seahawks give kam what he wants?

Im not up on nfl contracts like the rest of you fellas, school me right quick on why the seahawks are letting sherman get exposed by not calling kam. Will what kam is asking for put them in a bad position for the future money wise? is he asking for too much? is it him being the a$$hole? again I just watch the games I dont really keep up with team contract situations



side note- I remember watching the carolina game last year with my girl when he was feasting, after he blocked that FG and then picked off cam for that TD my girl was like damn that dude isnt human

It does set a bad precedent... he isn't even halfway through his last contract extension yet and asking for more dough. You do that for him and it opens the floodgates. Not saying he shouldn't get his money but that's the Seahawks perspective I'm guessing
