That's part of owning a pet. If trained they don't do that for long tho. I have dogs, had them since newly pups and have no worries of them tearing my shyt up and they I bathe them regularly.

U can train it to not do any of that. And keep it clean.

And u get one cuz they are good loyal companions, and home defense systems (can hear well and if u got a big dog can bite an intruder) . People are gonna think twice doing an home invasion if they know u got a big ass Rot or Pit in the crib that can hear em before they even get in the driveway

My dog only goes in one corner of tbe yard and doesn't touch anything in the house. I just got a new one and he will be the same soon enough

(there is no fukking way a dog is going into my house as if it just quickly came in to use the toilet or something)

I will say this.

I just moved to my own little one bedroom one bathroom apartment in a nice little part of South Fl to be closer to my new joband the bachelor life is great, but I gotta admit bringing my dog with me hasn’t been the easiest decision.

Rushing home from the office to walk my dog, paying for grooming, buying food that is healthy for her and always having to come home right after work so my dog ain’t home alone ALLL day. Smh it’s a lot believe it or not, it’s like having a mini kid.

Train your dog man. Mine doesn't shyt in the house and it's a breed that doesn't shed like crazy. If you don't do shyt with your dog and treat him like a house plant, he's going to get antsy and destructive. If your dog is getting plenty of exercise ans socialization time, he'll be fine.

EDIT: if you have a nearby dog park, just let your dog run around for 30-60 minutes 2-3 times a week and the typical dog is going to be gassed and laid back all the time.
