why would anyone buy a console when they get a gaming pc?

There are good games for every system. We've got all bases covered at my house. 2 PC's, 360's, PS4 & XBone. They all get used.

if you gonna spend $300 on a console plus all the $50 controllers, $50 per year, etc

y not just get a $500 gaming pc with a gtx 975 graphics card which will have better graphics than the consoles, plus its can handle lots of other stuff that a console cant handle. and it can do everything a console can do and better. and pc controllers, you can get a clone ps4 or xbone controller for $10.

How does one play Uncharted or The Last Guardian on a gaming PC?

uncharted is very overrated. boring console game! they been making the same game on consoles since RE4.

Thing is there is no alternative for someone who enjoys Uncharted 4 that's exclusive to PC. There is no alternative for people that enjoy the God of War series either. Sony still has made it were their games for the most part are only available on that platform. Fun factor is very subjective and is not a good arguing point for why people should be on PC over consoles.I think people that take gaming super serious should have a gaming PC, but for people who don't consoles are fine.

All that and you still didn't name the alternative to Uncharted and God of War that's exclusive to PC...I guess because those games oddly enough don't exist. I have nothing against PC gaming and will be joining the "master race" soon sir. The point of my post is that it's crazy to tell people games like Uncharted, The Last of Us, God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn etc. are trash and not worth your time...come to PC.

The lack of transparency regarding the ease of user interface & upkeep in computer gaming.

Why? I don't want to find out how easy or difficult It is to do computer gaming. I don't want homework...

I know that on consoles, I place the disc in the console and it pretty much plays.

It may be like that on pc... but I don't know that and don't care enough to find out.

2- Console gamers have a majority of close friends who game on consoles...why is that important?

I'm not trying to be pc gaming's Jehovah Witness going door to door convincing people to join "the master race".

Console gaming has been convenient and many people aren't trying to change the well traveled road.

3- We've gotten to a point where people have favorites. They genuinely want their favorite Gaming conduit to succeed. Wherher that be PS, Xbox, or Nintendo... it's like a fav team... I don't give a fukk if the Barcelona is a better team...I want to root for Brazil because it's just who I want to support.

What's so hard to understand?
