Why's there a boxing thread stickied in the Coliseum but my MMA thread's moved to TSC

So I know this place is derived from that other forum and all but why are we copying them completely now? When this place started, TSC was labeled "Wrasslin" but now y'all have changed it to Boxing, MMA, and wrestling. I think sports boxing, MMA, and wrestling heads can all agree that the way we separate the forums is silly and outdated. MMA, Boxing and Wrestling should not be lumped together just because they all take place on an elevated mat. TSC should be strictly wrestling topics, and let the MMA & Boxing heads discuss in the main Coliseum subforum.

It doesn't help that you guys add to the confusion (much like was done at that other website) by stickying boxing threads at the top of the Coli but moving MMA threads to TSC. There were even multiple posters in agreement to stickying the latter thread in the main forum which ended up being ignored. Clear this up....let TSC be wrestling only (the following is big enough to get numbers on it's own).

i always wondered why TSC wasnt a subforum of the rec room because wrestling is scripted and not actually a sport


but anyways i think that both MMA and anything boxing thats not pac/mayweather would have a hard time keeping up with the activity level in the seum and would drop off the first page pretty quick. but im personally against making subforums for every little thing we can think of and im not sure that a boxing/mma only forum would get enough traffic

i always hated that sohh put fake wrestling and real fighting together. imagine a thread about ultimate warrior in the coliseum next to a lebron james thread, same thing as mma threads being in (tsc)..

too bad that bs didnt end with coli's beginning but what could i do

hopefully they listen to yall.

the mistake boils down to one mod at the old site (whoever it was) who thought MMA and fake wrestling were the same

don't get what the relevance is. Neither thread belongs in there (imo) regardless of what thread is stickied or which came first. Get rid of the welcome thread per MMSex's suggestion, move the MMA stickied thread to the Coliseum and everyone wins.

I don't mind TSC being in The Coliseum because it's athletically inclined...there's a bunch of shyt that some of us probably think ain't a sport but we'd talk about it there regardless. TSC is it's own animal though so I think it deserves the sub-forum.

As far as what you said about boxing & MMA...I agree. The big events occur about once a month and sometimes less than that...nobody is going to be talking about either sport on a consistent enough basis beyond a thread or two. But my suggestion isn't for they're own sub-forum, I just think boxing & MMA threads belong in the main Coliseum forum. Give us stickied threads for the general events and PPV's and when a big fight happens, we'll make a thread for it.

The problem is that boxing & MMA posters mostly don't intermingle with the TSC crowd like that so what happened before would be a split between posters in The Coliseum and The Squared Circle. Two threads dedicated to one PPV would be commonplace as poster's wouldn't know whether to look for the discussion in one forum or the other. Keep it simple...give us free

Should just go ahead and make TSC it's own forum like Higher Learning, it's big enough to handle it or move it to Arcadium subforum so people don't get confused/mad anymore. MMAs a real sport so it should be in the Seum.

imo TSC deserves front page more than Higher Learning just off activity(which imo TSC dwarfs HL)

but i will say the more condensed and simple the layout the better

we dont want to be like the other site and go overboard with sub-forums

I'm saying I don't see the relevance because regardless of what the thread of the title is or the answer to the original question, the fact remains that you're continuing to confuse ppl by moving only some threads of a certain description to a wrestling subforum and not others. Honestly, I don't care whether the MMA thread gets stickied or not...it's more important that TSC stays wrestling only since that's the majority of the activity there anyway, while boxing and MMA are defaulted to the "real sports" forum. Either way it doesn't really matter since MMA threads won't have any activity until big events come around. Anything in either forum will probably be pushed down after a day or so

at the end of the day, I'm asking for consistency. If y'all decide to move the boxing thread to TSC then I guess we'll have to deal with it...but you guys already know there's going to be poster's who will post boxing and MMA threads in the Coli anyway. You decide to keep TSC as wrasslin only then it'll be easier down the line for you since defining it in that way will prevent a divide in posting about those topics.
