Will my ps4 trophies get synced into my psn whenever i sign in?

So during this whole "Lizard Squad" madness i decided to play some of my games i got for the ps4, thing is i already unlocked a bunch of trophies but i haven't signed into my psn account. My question is, will my trophies sync into my psn account when ever i sign up or will i have to restart the games to unlock them again?

Your earned trophies are saved to the PS4™ system and automatically synchronized with the PSNSM server. You can also manually synchronize your trophies. Press the OPTIONS button from

(Trophies), and then select [Sync Trophies with PSN].

Is this true?

Yes, I beat Tomb Raider offline and all the trophies I unlocked synced
