The Seattle ship has sailed. A lot of people out there dislike the NBA now due to the Clay Bennett fiasco. Since then, the Seahawks have gotten more popular during the Russell Wilson era and the Sounders have filled a lot of the void that the Sonics left. They also may be getting an NHL team

As far as Vancouver goes, it's not a sports city. Even the Nucks have empty seats during down years
