Will Smith is getting dragged online after the Hollywood star posted a tour video that seemingly features AI-generated video footage of a large audience during the UK leg of his Based on a True Story Tour.

The clip captioned, “My favorite part of tour is seeing you all up close,” showed the crowd getting emotional over Smith’s performance, but as fans looked closely, they noticed several AI graphics showing distorted hands and faces.

In the crowd, one audience member is seen holding up a sign which reads, “You Can Make It” helped me survive cancer. THX WILL.”


Fans reacted online.


“It’s time to acknowledge there is something very wrong with Will Smith,” one viewer wrote.


Smith has not responded to the AI allegations.

I'd need to see video from the concert to be sure. A lot of companies are upscaling real youtube/social media videos in order to make them look like AI renders, so that people can't tell what's real or fake anymore. So it could be real but doctored to look like that.

That being said...would I be shocked that someone who regularly makes poor decisions (like Will Smith) is letting white boys generate AI vids because of his ego? Sure. Will wait for an update.
