Facts. As a matter of fact, will was already out of touch with music when he released his last solo album in 2005. pre Eminem beef was good. After that, he was done. Just a couple of singles for his own movies.


For him to come back and actually make someone interested, he has to talk about topics like his relationship with Jada, his personal life, etc. Anything besides that, is shallow and gonna feel fake coming from him

Is there ANY alternative universe in which Will Smith or any of his style age gracefully with the music? Not Kid n Play, not Hammer, not Biz..even Slick Rick & Kane were "corny" by mid 90s. And a host of others. He's long lost his ability to write at a high level, and his proper orator voice isn't even the way he naturally speaks, so him trying to rap the same as he did for his soundtrack hits comes off as forced.

Heavy D was the only one that did, and he was no longer a force for his solo albums.
