The AFC has been superior for years now, with the NFC's top teams continually being frauds. Will they actually pose a threat this year or can we pencil in another AFC Champion?:patrice:.

5 NFC
5 AFC

Since 2013.

AFC: 3

NFC: 1

Patriots, Broncos, or Steelers have it this year pending health.

Martellus will produce.

Yea and the 5 before that the NFC was 4-1.

(NFC) Giants over Pats
(AFC) Steelers over Cards
(NFC) Saints over Colts
(NFC) Packers over Steelers
(NFC) Giants over Pats

AFC is 10-7 from 2000-2016

In the 90s the NFC was 8-2

So in the last 27 years the NFC is up 15-12.

Hardly fair to act like the AFC is in anyway the more dominant conference in either the immediate future, or going back a little further, technically the NFC has been the better conference of this generation (last 25 years).

The top teams from each conference are very comparable.

List isn't identical to the standings from last season, but still the top 5 finishing teams from each conference:

NFC
Panthers
Cardinals
Packers
Seahawks
Vikings

AFC
Patriots
Broncos
Steelers
Bengals
Chiefs
