My post was speculation, opinion; as was everyone else who commented on XBS pending price point. If you would have carefully read and fully comprehended that initial post, then you would have came to that same conclusion. Allow me to highlight the portion that illustrates my speculation

I think this console will be $700.00

Now as how I came to this conclusion is quite simple. You cannot build a 4k gaming computer cheaply; hell, you can barely build a regular computer for the competitive price point of a PS4 pro($400), so don't tell me that you can purchase all of the components for a 4k gaming computer setup.... and do it under 400.... or 500.... even 600..... low end would be around 700, but you get what you pay for. If you can build a 4k gaming pc(from the bottom, up) for $400, I'll send you the money within 7 days.

You can't because the computer components alone will EASILY run you between $700-$1000 retail... low end. I want to see what kind of manufacturing miracle Microsoft and its partners can produce because the general consensus among seasoned computer technicians and PC gaming enthusiasts is that Microsoft is TALKING OUT OF THEIR COLLECTIVE ASSES if they think they can create this console at the $400-$500 price point.

Folks have been buying $700-$1000 IPhones and Samsung S & Note series phones..... so why is a $700 console out of the question? You have been set up!

1. Microsoft does not pay the prices you pay, not even if you bought in bulk. So your calculations are off from the beginning

2. A gaming console is not the same as a gaming PC. You can accomplish much more with less power for reasons that have been relayed a million times over the years. PC gamers who don't know shyt always make this mistake. Please don't overlook this crucial factoid

3. Scorpio cost about the same as it cost Microsoft to make Xbox one's back in 2013. They have profited off of every console sold

You can find enjoyment in any system if you like gaming. Certain systems cater to certain types of gamer. If you like 3rd party games, best online gaming? Get Scorpio, if you like emo map slashers? Ps4, best single player games? Go Nintendo. Xbox got the hits tho...
