All of them are going to struggle defending young athletic guards and wings. If they become targets on defense and can’t shoot at a high percentage anymore, they might be done.

I think they can shoot at a decent percentage with star guys next to them, both are currently not in that situation. I don't think either guy is this bad

They not shooting well because their legs are cooked from playing defense. They might improve slightly next to star guys, but they still gonna get targeted on defense.
