even the musicality is cro mag. there is no groove. there is no humanity or love in the actual soundscapes. it's steely, shrill and orchestral. the content is no more violent than the rap of the past it's just done with zero humanity. at least black moon was killing people over roy ayers & donald byrd. you were able to mine love from the chaos. a love of music at the very least. now it's just debauchery & dysfunction set to chants and commands.

I still fukk with some of it, but one day like a month ago I was listening to lil mouse at like 3 in the morning just bopping my head and I paused it and thought "wtf am I doing, this is awful that Im enjoying and singing along while listening to a 13 year old just rapping about killing and guns" and I chilled out on it and haven't listened to much trap or drill or w.e lately.

No but I think it's pretty much regulated to a few new artists getting a big hit, then disappearing. None of these dudes have longevity.
