Former Geto Boys member, Willie D sat down to talk about his upbringing and his final decision to give up a potential career in boxing for a career in rap. Although most may know his time as a rapper, Willie says growing up he discovered his talent as a young fighter when he fought one of the best fighters and later gained his first KO a couple weeks later.
While very successful in the ring, he reveals that his fights in school later got him kicked out the school district two months before graduating. Aside from being a golden gloves champ, he says he dabbled in robbery before making a firm decision to get into rapping and vowed to giving his kids the best so they wouldn't encounter what hes been through.
