A thread/video for bball purists who wanna know how Wilt set all those damn scoring records:

Every single one of his NBA career baskets captured on film I found to date, and sorted into a few basic categories. I counted that only about 2% of his career field goals exists on film **EDIT**

Here's an updated version that includes ALL field goals made captured on film including HS, NCAA, Kutcher's, and Globetrotter footage. I was told by several old fans who saw Wilt play that some of his shooting abilities were not represented in my NBA footage due to limited footage, but their description of shots (such as free throw line extended jumpers) matched what I've seen him do in NCAA footage. So this updated video is prob the most accurate representation of the variety of ways he scored during his prime scoring years in the NBA:

I been busy so I haven't had time to post as much lately, so apologies for that but thanks for the support. I know x's and o's analysis aint for every fan but this vid is pretty revealing about how Wilt scored for those that really wanted to see the specifics. Just another of many more old school vids in the future.

He's the most mythical basketball player of all time.

Has there ever been another basketball player thats been heralded as so great, so big, so strong....yet theres so little actual footage of him playing?

Amazing video. After watching this, I can't see how anyone could omit Wilt from Top 5 lists or rank him lower than Shaq. Matter of fact, only Kareem might even be in his league for the center position. Never seen the array of moves he scored with, coupled with that body type. I'm talking those bank shots, the finger rolls, the finesse type moves. Then on top he straight up dominated down low.
