Murray has the crowd behind him, but Federer has the pedigree in this particular tournament. However, Federer has not won a grand slam tournament since 2012 and has been to only one finals since. These days, they are roughly on par with one another. Federer has been imperious in this tournament, dropping only a set so far and has arguably faced the tougher opponent between them in Simon. When I factor that in, I think he will be more prepared for the match going in. Murray will likely have to adjust. Head to head there is nothing between them (Federer up by only one match).

It's really a toss up and I expect to see a couple 7-game sets, but for the aforementioned reasons I will go with Federer in 4 sets.

I want Fed in 3 but I think it could go Murray in 4.

Either way I think Novak takes both guys out in the final, but I would love to see Federer take another Slam.

I dont think he can beat them BACK TO BACK either like he'd have to do. If he beats Murray he'll have to do it in 3 or 4 sets. Don't know if he has the endurance to last 5 sets against the caliber of Murray
