The Secret to Learning a Language in just 10 Days Revealed

In today’s global society, learning a foreign language is crucial, whether you need it for work or pleasure. With the right tools and training, you’ll be able to connect with new friends and business acquaintances more effectively thanks to your new ability to speak, listen, learn and improvise in another language. Pimsleur Approach

Numerous studies have revealed that in most countries, native-speakers use only about 2,500 distinct words and phrases on a daily basis. Dr. Paul Pimsleur, creator of the Pimsleur Approach, spent his lifetime studying these language building blocks. By aiming each lesson at teaching you to use those 2,500 words, the Pimsleur Approach teaches you to speak relevant phrases in the least amount of time. It’s not how many words you know, but rather, how relevant those words are.

The entire Pimsleur Approach is what language learning should be: quick, fun, and easy! You’ll absorb your new language effortlessly without any reading, writing, or computer use. The Pimsleur Approach even has a 100% guarantee: Speak in 10 days or you don’t pay.

Impossible, I know I'd get my bread back so this is a waste if you think it'll work in 10 days. But I'm sure it'd be good as a supplement if your already learning a foreign language or are looking to.

I can't stand websites with people trying to prove that a LEARNING experience is a scam. Some people may prefer something else over this but people trying to come up with reasons to blame the program and not them in most cases is stupid.

I can attest to the Pimsleur Approach program as I have been using this almost daily to learn Spanish.

So far I've completed the first part of the program and am 19 lessons in on the second part.

It's funny I can read/write a little in Spanish and understand some spanish depending on how fast they're talking.

I didn't know a lick of spanish besides the usual "hola," "Buenos diaz", or w/e. Now I feel confident enough to say a few things to people in Spanish(though I may err a few times.)

It's not some magic trick, they simply start you off with hearing a convo in Spanish and then then go through what each word meant. Then they gradually advance up to bigger words and more complex sentences and they constantly remind you of older terms so you don't forget it.

No you won't be speaking like a native speaker but using this coupled with some people/friends who can help you and exposure to the language you want to learn you'll be fluent in no time. I even have my Vita/PS3 in Spanish most of the time.

Si yo peudo hacerlo, tu puedes hacerlo lo tambien!
I can't type with the accents so I fukked up.

I dled a few of these a few years ago as a test. I'm not sure it was better than Rosetta Stone. It's not bad, though. It's mostly phrase-based learning, and then because of the individual words showing up in more than one phrase, you supposedly learn the grammar, word meaning, etc. at once while also learning practical phrases from the get-go. It's not some 10-day magic, believe me, but it seemed like a solid learning method. I still prefer Rosetta Stone, though, because it's more comprehensive and uses image association which I think probably works better for some people, myself included, plus teaches you how to pronounce properly using that meter that tells you if you said a word properly into the microphone or not.

You wont learn a langauge in ten days. This is a marketing gimmick. Maybe if your life depends on it and you have a audiographic memory. 10 days probably isnt even enough to get through all 3 volumes of their spanish set. Like i said if you adheer to the tapes and memorize each lesson you hear through constant boring drilling, you'll begin to pick up words. You wont be having conversations with native speakers outside of generic, how are you doing, im tired, im sleepy, im sick. You can maybe talk to a 3 - 7 year old. Its a reccomendable product but you wont be learning the language in 10 days, im sorry but no.

I stopped using it because it was boring as hell. I would put j dilla insrumentals on with it just to keep from falling asleep. You have to be passionate about it because once you get to 2 weeks listening to this shyt ull be tired of it. Imagine 3 months.. You literally cant listen to anything else but this shyt to retain the words. I retained a lot of the words but i cant just bust it out. The first thing that happens is understandin people around you, after that maybe you can speak some generic phrases. I liked spanish pod on my blackberry a lot more because it was conversational with human beings not a robot reciting words to me over and over.
