had mine removed a few years ago. i had insurance so i only had to pay the $50 co-pay and the rest was covered. i thought i was going to get all 4 removed at the same time, but i had a female dentist who said her arms were tired after pulling the first two so she scheduled me to come back in a month to remove the other 2
it hurts like a bytch, i remember when i removed the cotton gauze from my mouth, blood came gushing out. it seemed like it would never stop
the methadone helped tho, plus it knocked me out for hours at a time which was good because when you're in pain the best thing you can do is rest..and boy i got some good sleep that week. when i was awake i'd drink protein shakes, ice cream and mashed potatoes. i had to throw away my pillowcases afterwards because i bled all over them while i slept
