Portable consoles really are silly.
They don’t serve a purpose anymore when you could cloud game a full console game on a tablet or phone. Could even carry a full controller with you in your briefcase too if you wanted a traditional feel to it.

Cloud gaming with no internet or shytty connection are you serious right now breh. Cloud gaming is not the future right now that shyt spotty at best. Games you can play offline and local offline co-op will always trump cloud.

I cloud game at 800mb from a Verizon 5g phone. Are YOU serious?
I'd understand if this were 2009, but where do y'all live without 5g connection? The Internet nearly collapsed in 2020 because of all the random 5g towers being spread like pollen in the wind.

The Steam Deck & Rog Ally says otherwise. Cloud gaming isn’t a reliable option in some regions and tablets and phones aren’t as powerful as dedicated consoles

I tried to be an ipad gamer once. i even had emulators on it but I'd get mad at the lag when I'd use Airplay to play on my TV. The lag is actually not noticeable anymore, Apple's gotten much better. I was playing Tower of Fantasy on my iPhone using Razer mobile gamepad thru Airplay on my TV and it was fun.
but Tower of Fantasy doesn't have offline.
Unfortunately too many good iOS and Android games require an internet connection.
Military bases and airports all around me hogging up the bandwidth.
What's stopping you?
