That 1993 Rose Bowl with MJ as the halftime performer

Yep...it might never ever happen again. Not enough skyboxes/luxury suites. Until it has a major revamp it's a complete non-starter
I actually think they’re gonna move away from the model of just because you have a domed stadium, you get the SB. wtf wants to go to Minneapolis, Indianapolis, Chicago (who, if they do get it will be a one off), or Cleveland (who’s trying to get a dome stadium) in February? This shyt about to be a rotation of Miami, Atlanta, possibly Nashville, NOLA, Houston, Dallas, Vegas, and LA. Would say AZ but the way Glendale is like 25 min from downtown PHX so they’ll gladly toss it in the bushesYep...it might never ever happen again.
Rose Bowl would likely be tarnished with a bunch of renovations and luxury boxes added, and it doesn't seem like they're all that interested in doing so. But to me, as is, the RB is the dopest football venue.
Edit: It flat out will never happen again with SoFi being right there. Chicago hosting once the new Bears stadium is built will have to make up for it.

I agree that if Chicago actually gets this dome built, they will get a SB, but it would be a one-off, or once every 25 years type of thing, not some regularly rotated city.I actually think they’re gonna move away from the model of just because you have a domed stadium, you get the SB. wtf wants to go to Minneapolis, Indianapolis, Chicago (who, if they do get it will be a one off), or Cleveland (who’s trying to get a dome stadium) in February? Domes but warm weather cities..MN in february is not fun for anyone, regardless of dome.Funny that most of the stadiums you listed are domes anyway.
Thats a non starter. Being close to downtown Phx doesn't mean anything in Arizona. There's plenty of infrastructure in place to accommodate/entertain people in Glendale itself...not to mention other cities in the Phoenix Metro area...like Scottsdale...Phoenix...Tempe.Would say AZ but the way Glendale is like 25 min from downtown PHX so they’ll gladly toss it in the bushes
Yea...downtown PHX is barely a downtown tbh. PHX is a newer, suburban city, not your traditional, densely populated city in the northeast, or Chicago with downtown being the epicenter.Thats a non starter. Nashville in februrary is like 20 degrees warmer than Chicago, so it's not all that attractive either.
It'll mostly be the cities you mentioned: LA, NOLA, MIA, ATL, HTX, Dallas. Vegas, AZ.
Let me rephrase that. Domes in miserable, cold weather cities. Detroit ain't hosted the SB in damn near 20 yrs. Indy 2012. Next year is in Santa Clara and it took a decade for it to come back there (and I think this may be the last time in a long time too).Funny that most of the stadiums you listed are domes anyway.
By that I mean, you hear a lot of fans, media types and people around the game complain like PHX is Jacksonville. There's so much going on around the game before the game, that it's spread out to those other areas like Tempe, Scottsdale, etc. It's not concentrated like say an ATL or NOLA, or a Nashville would be. I think Miami gets excluded cause most folks are kicking it near South Beach and only pop up in Miami Gardens for the game or NFL Experience events and shyt.Thats a non starter.
