I thought once Jumanji (very good movie) hit big screens, it was gonna be a wrap for Hollywood and the board game movie canon.

But then Battleship came along and ruined all that for us board game lovers, with the Ouija board movie directed by McG and produced by Michael Bay most notably being scraped. A classic at its inception, we never will know if we will get the Ouija board movie we were all pining for.

So here is my potential list for Hollywood to hopefully peruse and turn into really good movies.

Feel free to drop gems guys. Hopefully we can get some steam behind this and the suits in Hollywood will look up from their endless lines of cocaine to make a good movie!

Clue: The Forbidden Love of Professor Plum and Colonel Mustard
Hungry Hungry Hippos: The Musical
Snakes and Ladders
Scrabble: The Streets
Jenga
Twister
Crossfire (:gladbron:)
Chess: The Movie (sequel to Searching for Bobby Fisher)
Jigsaw (Sequel to Saw franchise)
Apples to Apples: Jewish Edition

The game of Life would make for a fantastic indie dramedy. Two downtrodden, socially lacking, starving artists working dead end jobs (white hipsters tbh and a guy and a girl of course) make a deal to wake up every day, draw a card from Life, and try to live out whatever that card says.

McG's unnervingly accurate portrayal of human emotion would have this shyt bunkin.
