1st i wanna say, jay might have the best samples ever used on a hip hop album with reasonable doubt
it's like the vibe, the feelin' those samples have is unlike any other hip hop album and he was just flowin' all over those beats
i feel like they picked all the right samples for this album. it's sooooo smooth and laid back. timeless

2nd thing i wanna say is, @Cloud McFly you was right and i was wrong when i said this album ain't a classic. it is
in fact, this album has only gotten better with time and as you've stated before, just because somethin' might be as you said "overshadowed" by other great releases doesn't take anythin' away from reasonable doubt bein' a great and classic album, because it definitely has stood the test of time and continues to only get better with time

oh yeah, lemme tag @OfTheCross and @Farrinto too

(how did y'all like that recent guest feature of his on pusha t's song? i just got around to checkin' it out but i think it's nice. i like it more than his feature on the "all the way up remix")

i can't find the original thread i made a while back where we was rankin' jay's solo albums but i wanted to do it again. here's the list of how he (jigga) ranked his own albums

The Scoreboard | Life+Times

dap + rep :salute:

As for his verse on Pusha T's DDD, I love it. I like his verse on Seen It All, and We Made It more though.

I thought his All The Way Up verse was decent, as well as his performance on I Got The Keys.

I need more of the Hov on the first songs I mentioned, over the latter.

his verse on we made it is probably my favorite out of all those recent guest appearances. that verse was great :whew:

i wonder if he plans on doin' another album this year. i can't believe it's already been 3 years since magna carta
remember the days when jay would put out an album every year? :mjcry:
