With the right work ethic who had more potential, Vince Young or Jamarcus Russell?

They both failed hard!

Vince Young had some level of success, While J. Russell had zero work ethic what soever though he had all the physical tools to be a good quaterback(maybe not mentally).

Obviously Russell. I mean almost any player that goes #1 overall has tremendous potential. You just can't help the lazy though.

With the right coaching staff, and a good situation where he could sit and wait (without gaining weight) I would go with Jamarcus. It seems like Vince struggled with not being overly successful from the jump like he had always been. Plus, I'm not sure that he could completely comprehend a complete offense. Jamarcus atleast had that going for him at LSU.
