I can afford it. Just don't see the value in spending $200 a year to avoid having to skip an ad after 5 seconds.
I was once a cost accountant before i became a CFO. It was literally my job to be frugal. and find ways to improve costs savings on manufactured goods.
Number one way to save money on youtube, is to use it for free instead of paying for it. Seems like a no brainer.

I don’t use it that much. I spend way more time on Discord, A.I and Reddit for information.

Clicking “Skip ad” after 5 seconds works fine.

Additionally, unless it’s something like Math/Physics/Engineering (which I use a textbook for mostly) I usually just copy the transcript and run it through A.I to give me a summary I can read in 5 minutes vs watching 30 minutes to 1+ hours of video that tends to yap.
