If we didnt have internet i believe most of us would be to lazy to quench our thirst for knowledge. I used the internet to pass high school and do shyt that that would take hours of research in only a couple minutes. I wonder how yall old nikkas did it?

Well people do adapt to changing times.

As long as knowledge is obtained then there is no problem.

I remember when one would have to actually go outside and go to libraries and bookstores for research.

And that's one of the best things about the internet: the speed/convenience

Meanwhile back in the day, I had to put on clothes, go all the way to the library and flip through some dusty pages just to ready up on a particular subject?

When I was a teen in the mid 90s and remember driving to the library to learn about shyt. I can't say id be a dumb nikka without the net but a lot of the random shyt I don't know would be forgotten if I had to drive places to learn about it

With the internet, knowledge-hungry people can read more, watch more videos and actually increase the amount of knowledge they are absorbing. But with modern conveniences, people can get lazy. Many people have had their attention-spans shortened and sometimes only read headlines or the first few sentences of articles. Some won't read long posts on message boards and despite having all the knowledge at their fingertips, lack the discipline or drive to sift through it. Some people today pride themselves in not reading things and with people around who can summarize things, let other people do all their work for them. In the older days, there were fewer people who could give you the scoop on things, forcing your hand a bit to commit to sifting through things to develop your own opinions (not ones given to you by somebody else) and philosophy.

The internet has been nothing but harmful to black people as a whole although I personally find it to be helpful
