WOAT last name in the NBA - Dellevedova

So, before the NBA Championships, I had never heard of Matthew Dellevedova. And had Kyrie Irving not injured his knee cap, it would have remained that way.
When I see his name, I think Delledova. BUT, there's that extra 've'. I'm thinking, there's an extra syllable in there. What's up with that?

Nah the current WOAT last name is that of the Macedonian born, current bench warmer, Hawks C/F Pero Antic (pronounced an-teesh) but looks like the word "antic" which literally means something ridiculous/buffoonish
