But in that night after the club shooting, Wolf had an opportunity to claim the gun that they charged Puff for. A cop even claims he overheard Puff tell wolf he'd give him $80,000 and a Platinum ring if he'd take the charge and Wolf refused.

Im pretty sure dude had priors, and puff didn't. Why would anybody take that charge? Wouldn't of made sense for homie, but in hindsight he probably would of been alive.
