Theres plenty of books about Badboy that go deeper with this. According to Police off the record, Puff offered both Wolf and Wordell money, and begged the officer in charge to let Jlo go. He also asked the officer about whether or not they will all be charged, if some claims the gun. Whether it was the coke that he tried to push under the seat when they were stopped or something else, Puff sealed is fate as he also forgot to get rid of his gun, which the officer also found under the truck seat.
