Only thing that makes sorta sense would be if "her" dog was only hers because someone else dumped it off on her.
An ex, a child that moved/had a life change n couldn't keep the dog but pressured her to take it on, that type of thing.
In that case, it wasn't a pet but a millstone around the neck and eventually something was gonna break.
She could've literally left it leashed to a stall and someone would happily take it home.
But she had to lowkey hate the animal so did this ish to wipe her hands of it.

That is insane. There’s a lot of different routes she could’ve went that would have kept the dog alive and kept her out of jail. Dumb bytch.

Dogs tend to attract psychopaths because of how they shower even unworthy people with affection. Something cats won't do which tends to keep such pet owners away.
Also her choice of dog was the definition of pet accessory. I can imagine she prob speaks with vocal fry and is shallow as fukk. I've never called myself a pet owner. Animals are companions...this is a pet owner.
