I don't think it was a miscommunication though because when i quoted you about what you said, you defended it and talked about karma.

Thank God that you are not a judge or a police officer. You would ruin a lot of good people's lives. I never agreed with woman's throat being slashed, and precautionary methods must be took for everyone. Its accountability, bottom line and there will always be victims in this society.

I said that Karma goes for everyone, from the bum that slashed her throat to the lady victim. Not saying that the woman provoked it in this particular situation, but better be safe than sorry. All this thread was a reminder for everyone to take precaution.

Hopefully they catch this guy but I don't see this as street harassment. This was assault with a deadly weapon at the very least or attempted murder. I think this guy was looking for some trouble to begin with and this unlucky lady just happened to be on the receiving end. The fact that he had a weapon on him is somewhat telling in itself.

A 26-year-old woman is in critical but stable condition after HAVING HER THROAT SLASHED by a man with whom she declined to talk. Police are still looking for the suspect.

On October 1, around 5:20 am, the unnamed woman was in the lobby of a building in Queens, New York, when a man came up to her and tried to talk to her. She refused to talk to him and turned away. He then grabbed her from behind and slashed her on the neck with an unspecified "cutting instrument."

Another resident described a similar but separate attack in the same neighborhood, via CBS 2:

"She got hit from behind," Carlos Iaje told CBS 2's Janelle Burrell. "She didn't know what happened, she just woke up in the hospital. That can happen to anybody, so you have to be more careful."
