wasnt this kinda obvious? surprised at the methodists, theyre usually more charitable (at least they are in this area of this country). every time we needed help it was always a methodist, catholic, or unitarian church. christianity has a pretty awful human rights track record in general. obviously you cant change the past, but you can make old wrongs right and do good things in the future... doesnt seem like a lot of them try too hard though. i just think its weird seeing so many churches and so many homeless people. theyre not doing shyt to help anybody. theyre doing beach bingo on friday nights
i have people in my friend group that are devout christians and actually go out and do good work. theyre generally new testament followers and really big into jesus and earthly acts, not so much revelation spookiness and damning people to hell. they are "new" "modern" style christians, the ones who have tattoos or piercings, or have gay friends. i even know a lesbian christian. i dont know how that shyt is supposed to work
why didnt she call any synagogues though???
