Forty-two-year-old Alexis Staton allegedly poured the steaming hot food on a man who was sleeping in her Capitol Heights home last month, according to NBC Washington. When the man jumped out of bed, she hit him in the head with a bat.
The victim’s identity has not been released.
The relationship between Staton and the unnamed victim, as well as the motive for the attack remain unclear. The victim suffered burns to his body and a head wound as a result of the attack.
