But if she had a dude that she was all into, she wouldn't be giving her ex a second or third thought. My friend that is married does the same thing. Because her marriage sucks, and she married a scrub. And he can't give her kids. Meanwhile, three of her ex's from long term relationships are married and with families. She's feeling some type of way.

I believe a woman's ego will not allow her to fully close the door on a man she really wants. Even if she meets a similar man, if she did not fully close the door it will always be cracked a little for that one man. Dude in my OP can easily cheat on his wife with her and she will happily be a sidechick to him.

That's a huge red flag for me. If a woman stays talking about an ex, that means that door isn't closed for her. And I'm out.
