I only watch the socca so there is the possibility that in my case, the tables may be turned i.e. having a woman who watches sports while I sit quietly in the corner :ohhh:

When it comes to the socca though in real life I rarely bring it up. As far as women's opinions go on soccer I don't even take men's opinions seriously on soccer, so I guess that sums it up.

Its all good to watch the sports..and be a legit fan of the game. But don't debate with me on things about the game or sport if you don't know enough. Us men follow these players since HS.

We can make up..after you realize you were wrong tho. :jawalrus:

I agree but some men fail to realize so do some women. In jr high one of my girlfriends was a huge basketball fan; after she introduced me to the Womens final four one year the rest was history. I just think men have issues with believing that the same reason why you guys love sports is the same reason we love sports.

One of my girlfriends asked me if I could go on a $5,000 shopping spree to my favorite store or go to the Superbowl which one would I pick. The answer will forever be the Superbowl. No matter who's playing the Superbowl experience for a football fan can't be matched.

I know situations such as this. My bad if I seemed like i was making a generalization. I was speaking more from a specific experience. I know alot of females who are like you and your people,......and I know alot of the opposite. But they have good intentions....just need to do a little more research. :russ:

nah fukk that. sports time is me time. i dont need a chick in my face next to me or around. she can sit in the corner and watch quietly if she so chooses.
the better thing is: A Woman Who Understands Why You Like Sports More than Her Appreciation Thread

What a coincidence I consider it my me time also :youngsabo:

I can provide snacks and then sit quietly and read a book :takedat:

this is why i don't really discuss sports with people with the exceptions of message boards(unless i'm ASKED.)
as a chick..dudes always think you have some ulterior movtive behind it ...or that your trying to "show them up" or some other egotistical bullshyt....so i just watch games and don't really say much even when there's a room full of dudes rattling off bullshyt(half of them are usually as clueless and the women they hate on too). :mjpls:

I got you. I remember a few weeks ago Lolo Jones was on College Game Day and this cow said I'll pick K State because their uniforms have more purple in them...

:what: :snoop: :beli: At least say it's because you like K State and think they can win. I muted the tv until it was Corso's time to make his big selection. LOL. I was so mad at her ass.

I won't say half but this is true also. I have heard numerous conversations where guys are wrong.

I was watching a preseason football game this year and a guy felt the need to go in on a rookie CB because "he messed jamming a receiver and let him get a free release at the LOS. They showed a wide replay and it was clear that he was disguising it as press man and he opened up and bailed which signifies a Cover 3 look, all dude had to do was look at the other corner and both LB's to determine what was actually going on.

There are a lot of dudes like that, they suffer from that Skip Bayless syndrome thinking they know way more then what they actually do.
