it would deter women who were really raped from reporting it. also, women who have falsely accused men of rape would never admit it out of fear of being prosecuted.

They should get jail time. Its no different than framing someone else for a crime. If u frame someone for a crime and get caught, u get a sentence. Fake rape claims are the same thing.
